\"SantaWe love the holidays at La Vita Dolce. My favorite aspect of the season is the\u00a0general inclination\u00a0toward joy and giving that comes with it. The holiday spirit is absolutely a real and unstoppable phenomenon.\u00a0 Every year I witness it glowing\u00a0and spreading all around me. People smile more, they seek out opportunities to help others, and they generally seem to give and receive love more freely. It’s magical. So this year, we decided to dedicate a week to events and activities\u00a0designed to compliment and\u00a0spread\u00a0the\u00a0spirit of the season.

Monday, December 11
\nHoliday Tree Lighting on the Southern Village Green<\/h4>\n

\"SouthernAt 5:30p on Monday, December 11, Scroggs Elementary 5th grade chorus and Culbreth Middle School chorus will perform holiday music. Singing will be followed by the tree lighting at 6:00p. Admission is free and all are welcome! La Vita Dolce will be on the Green serving complimentary hot chocolate and Scroggs Elementary will\u00a0be selling baked goods to support their new robotics program. Join us as we\u00a0light up the\u00a0community\u00a0with joy!<\/p>\n

Tuesday, December 12
\nToys for Tots, Coffee\u00a0for Customers!<\/h4>\n

\"DerekLa Vita Dolce is collecting new and unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots organization.\u00a0The box\u00a0is in the cafe, and you can drop off toys any time, but on December 12, we’re giving you a little extra incentive.\u00a0Those who bring in a new, unwrapped toy for\u00a0our Toys for Tots box on December 12 will receive 50% off any drink\u00a0they order (with the exception of alcoholic drinks).\u00a0 That includes all of our winter drink\u00a0specials<\/a> like our S’mores Hot Chocolate or Mocha, Honey Ginger Latte, Spiced Apple Chai Latte,\u00a0and more. Each toy you bring in gets you an additional half-priced drink,\u00a0so bring a few and treat your friends — or taste test\u00a0all of our\u00a0holiday drink specials\u00a0yourself!<\/p>\n

\nWine Down Wednesday, Holiday Edition<\/h4>\n

\"HolidayEvery Wednesday, we offer 50% off all wine by the bottle and 30% off by the glass\u00a0for Wine Down Wednesday<\/a>. On December 13, we’re hosting a special winter Wine Down Wednesday with free samples of a\u00a0mulled wine holiday cocktail\u00a0<\/strong>(also available for purchase by the glass), and\u00a0holiday tunes\u00a0(yes, we will take requests!). Join us to mingle, jingle, and\u00a0sip!<\/p>\n

\nGingerbread Cookie Decorating<\/h4>\n

\"GingerbreadOur 4-day holiday series\u00a0culminates\u00a0with one of our favorite events of the year:\u00a0the annual Gingerbread Cookie Decorating event<\/a>, held on December 14 from 3pm to 6pm.\u00a0It’s free to come by\u00a0and $4 for a gingerbread cookie and decorative icing and candies.
